Coupons Work!

So to all those out there who doubted me, I want to say HA! It really does work. ;) JK I actually just wanted to share with you all the success I enjoyed at the supermarket this week. I have been working on getting good at this coupon thing for about 5 months now and it's finally catching on.

First of all, this trip was a short one: I only bought Milk, 2 onions, 3 bags frozen vegetables and 8 Herbal Essence items. Along with my Herbal Essence coupons I had a $10 catalina from my last trip. So after buying about $35.00 worth of stuff, I only paid $.43!!! That's 102% savings! Isn't that great? It makes me feel good. :)

This second trip this week, Smith's was having a 50% off Big G Cereal Sale. An average box (12-17 oz) was $2.39 for mainly Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, or Golden Grahams. With my coupons I've been holding onto from months past, I was able to buy 13 boxes of cereal for $1.63 each! It was a catch for me and I was excited. This is by far the best way to shop!
