Dustin's Graduation, and of course more Sydney

Our little Sydney is standing like a pro and trying to walk across furniture.  "ALREADY?" I know, it drives me nuts that she's growing so fast.  She has had plenty of bruises on her head (as you'll see below) that's for sure, but after a few days she has quickly figured out how to fall without hurting herself (for the most part).
See the bruise across her eyebrow? It reminds me of the scar on Scar in "The Lion King", don't you think?

Here Uncle Derik did that with her Little Puffs... There is actually a similar picture of us doing this to my sister Sheyenne with the good ole Rice Puff cereal.

Helping mommy vacuum
Showing off her cute summer dress. Every dress is cute on her, I can't resist taking a picture.

She's been doing that with her face lately: biting her upper lip with her two little teeth.

 Grandma Teresa's present
Crawling like a pro. She now crawls normal and only occasionally she will pull out her army crawl.

Learning to share...
Cadence Smith came over to play. Sydney wasn't so used to the playmate, though it would be nice if she had one more often.

 Such a cute standing baby.
Yes, I am feeding her chocolate. And yes, I am probably a bad mom for doing so. lol

CONGRATULATIONS, DUSTIN!!!!!!
My one and only older brother, Dustin, finally graduated from BYU! I say finally because he is considered an eternal student since he never wanted to leave. In other words, he is a great example because he never wants to stop learning.  Lucky for you Dustin, you have a wonderful new adventure ahead of you. I'm not talking about marriage (though that is its own rollar-coaster in and of itself...).  But your education will open doors that you can't even imagine would be possible to open. My only prayer for you, is that you do not sell yourself short. You won't start in the ideal position in life, yet I hope and pray you keep searching and keep moving up in the world, because you have the greatest potential to do so.  When you do marry, take her with you. Whoever you choose, make sure she pushes you to your limit and takes risks in life as well.  Again, my brother, don't sell yourself short and don't give up. There is so much out there that only you can achieve and the Lord brought you here to do it. Lastly, just know you sister loves you and looks up to you (always have). Stay close to your family always and stay close to the Lord.
Congrats and Good Luck with the bumpy road to come! (because it will obviously be rough) ;)

(It was just last year that Kory and I were doing this)

Grajiation, Graduashon, Graduation! (got it!)

Happy Graduation Day!
April 22nd-23rd

So, Kory and I finally finished our Bachelor's Degrees at Brigham Young University! Kory actually finished back in December 2009, but he waited to "walk" with me in April when I finished (how sweet of him). It was a battle, but it was fun. Kory finished with a Bachelor's in Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology: Communication Disorders. And I completed with a BS in Geography: Global Studies. We both are very proud of our achievements. We each had a mission in between our studies, so excluding those semesters we missed, we each finished in about 4 years.

We were lucky enough to have Mom and Dad Dopp with us for a few days during the Graduation ceremonies. They came, along with some of my family, to the Commencement and Convocation. At the Commencement, we got to hear from the all-wise Elder D. Todd Christofferson. Then the next day (which rained like heck), we "walked" at the Convocation.

"Yippee!!!"
Waiting in the Smith Fieldhouse extension
"Where's Waldo?" Where's mom, dad, and dad Flanary?

Reading cards. They pronounced my whole name right; I was very proud! :)

The cute couple
My dad took these pictures. This one's my favorite. :)

Now, onto the next stage in life! WOO-HOO!!! ;)

Kory Graduates!

CONGRATULATIONS, KORY!!!!
Well he did it! Kory is graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from BYU. He is enjoying his free time with having no homework. He is happily going to work every morning and working-out every evening. I, on the other hand, am back in school but with only 2 classes. It rocks not having an overload of homework but just enough to keep me on my toes. I then graduate in April this year. Woop-dee-do! We hope to see as much family as possible on Graduation Day when Kory and I plan to walk. The plan is, we will walk if it means we get to see you, but if you can't make it, we ain't walking ;) hehe.

Well, January is almost over and the Love Holiday is coming! We love you all!!!!
