Once upon a Sunday, one of the other young women leaders taught about Testimony and at the end she handed out small containers of dirt and different types of seeds. She told the girls that they could only water their plant when they had read their scriptures that day and then they could watch their plant grow along with their testimonies. Anyways, I followed through and to our surprise, my plant was growing!! It was so exciting except that it was growing too fast for its little starter pot could hold. So I hurried and found a bigger shoebox and borrowed some planting soil and now our little plant sits on our apartment balcony where the sun can hit it during the day so it continue to flourish. I planted 2 zucchini seeds...I hope they survive so late in the season because Kory and I would love to have home-grown zucchini for the first time. hehe

I love gardening! I never thought to use a shoebox before. You are very creative.
