Bear Lake 2010 (2)

We had our second trip to Bear Lake this summer. But this time with Austin & Amy Smith and Jordan & Ashley Hix. It was a short trip but definitely worthwhile. :)
My family happened to be up in Idaho--about an hour away from the Lake--so we were able to go boating with them on Saturday. The water was ridiculously choppy, so we didn't do any skiing or wakeboarding, but we did do some mad tubing! Choppy water makes great bumps for a tuber. ;) Everyone got a turn (except me of course. Not sure baby dopp would've liked it.) and everyone came back with sore arms. haha. :) I tried to catch some of it on tape, but be ye warned, it was a VERY bumpy ride!

My daddy's baby, I mean boat!

The boys in their matching swimming suits! They all showed up with practically the same shorts. They all said that they bought theirs at Walmart. Haha, the irony. :)

Our Story...

Kory and Shay found each other at Brigham Young University at a Ward Choir practice, and they have been inseparable ever since. All except for the year and a half that she decided to follow Kory's lead and serve the Lord as a full time missionary, where she did so in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 2007-2008. Kory valiantly served in the New York, New York South Mission during 2003-2005. Now that they have been majestically reunited, they finished their college degrees while initially living in Provo, Utah. Now, they reside in Alpine, Utah. Two turned to three when their gorgeous daughter, Sydney, entered their lives September 2010. They currently live a challenging, yet happy life, and await for the next turn life's path brings them.
