Happy 2nd Anniversary!

I got so baby picture happy that I forgot to post about our wedding anniversary or Kory's birthday. :)

We decided to celebrate our wonderful 2 years together by going to the Cheesecake Factory!!! (yes, we took the baby and she was an complete angel and slept through most of the evening.) We absolutely love that place and there is only one that we know of in Utah, which is in Murray. We splurged and shared a piece of the most delicious Banana Cream Cheesecake in the Universe. Kory bought me two dozen roses too! I was definitely not expecting two dozen (I thought maybe two period.. hehe ;) jk) But two dozen could be the start of a great tradition: 2 dozen, 2nd wedding anniversary...I can expect 25 dozen on our 25th anniversary, right? ;)
He also got me a Boston, Mass hoodie from when he went to Boston a couple weeks ago for work. I got him a new pair of navy blue b-ball shorts (because he only had one that he liked).

For Kory's birthday, we didn't do a surprise party like last year but we had a few friends over for cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa. Kory isn't too fond of cake so he said that he would like cinnamon rolls instead. I actually concurred and thought the cinnamon rolls were much better than cake! He got Hunting Camo clothes and brand spankin' new hair clippers (his old ones were crappy).

Our Story...

Kory and Shay found each other at Brigham Young University at a Ward Choir practice, and they have been inseparable ever since. All except for the year and a half that she decided to follow Kory's lead and serve the Lord as a full time missionary, where she did so in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 2007-2008. Kory valiantly served in the New York, New York South Mission during 2003-2005. Now that they have been majestically reunited, they finished their college degrees while initially living in Provo, Utah. Now, they reside in Alpine, Utah. Two turned to three when their gorgeous daughter, Sydney, entered their lives September 2010. They currently live a challenging, yet happy life, and await for the next turn life's path brings them.
