Shay's Mission Reunion 2011

I was ecstatic to go to my most recent mission reunion this April! It is because, this particular reunion was going to be the first one with my Mission President and a lot of the missionaries from my era (I served with).  President Milton Brinton and Sister Barbara Brinton served in the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Mission from July 2005-July 2008 (I returned June 29, 2008). It was so great to see them! I loved the missionaries I served with and it was wonderful to see all of them.

Us with Elder Jonathan Ubri and his wife, Celeste

I was laughing because the Elder who took this picture happened to be the same Elder that took a couple of pictures with Ubri on the mission. lol. Classic. Elder Ubri is from Boston and was a exceptional missionary. He was a great example and like a fun brother to me.
THEN

The guy in the Purple was the Elder who took our picture I just told you about.
NOW
THEN

Sister Flanary, Sister Souza, and Elder Washburn with his wife
Me with Leoanrdo Martins (and a friend of his I don't know)
Me, Sister Souza, and Elder Cangelozi (worked in the office)

Now that's a powerful group of missionaries right there! ;)

This is Josiane Teles de Souza. She was one of my missionary companions, I was her 2nd companion and she was my first trainee (sort of).  She considered me her trainer because her actual trainer was too trucky to teach her right.  We became good friends because we went through a lot together and two separate areas (Campo Lindo & Jacarepagua).
