She's has decided that everything is a jungle gym and pulls herself up on everything.
She's not so content with just playing on the floor anymore.
And along with this new phase is, of course, the stage of bumps and bruises. As I tried to catch it on this next picture, Sydney already is starting to look like mommy - bruises everywhere. Notice the small ones on the right-side of her forehead (left side of the pic). You might need to click on the picture to see it bigger.
We took Syd to her Uncle Dakota's soccer game. It's been so cold outside for every game that this has been the first one we've been able to come to. Her bear outfit finally fits! (right when winter is over...) Oh well, maybe I'll have another girl in a future Winter.
Trying to pull off her hood. :)
Now here is our born water-skier! Her Grandpa Flanary will be so proud. ;) Since she's been pulling herself up on everything, she decided to pull on her rings hanging off of her play center so that she could be on her knees. She was standing up on her knees but I couldn't get that on camera.
She tried her first raw strawberry
Okay, so I actually put her in the wagon. But I wanted to see if she'd fit. She does. :) haha we rode around the house in it for a while.
THIS is her freakishly long eyelash! Really. It's not mine nor Kory's. It belongs to a little 8 month old baby. Crazy.
Lastly, I wanted to add to the Mother's Day post. Kory was too sweet. He bought me Chocolate covered Strawberries (which was the Young Women's Camp fundraiser, haha) and Joseph Smith the Prophet CD and DVD. I first saw this composition on the BYU channel and fell in love with it. I was only able to Tivo part of it (that I repeat almost every Sunday), so I asked for the CD. It is a musical combination on the life and mission of Joseph Smith, from his vision in the grove to his Martyrdom, composed by Rob Gardner. It has songs where they role-play Joseph, Lucy Mack, (mother), Emma (wife), the Three Witnesses and others by taking they're historical accounts and adapting them to music form. The Three Witnesses song is by far my favorite - I love it! You can order it through www.josephsmiththeprophet.com or http://www.spiremusic.org/jstpdvd/. I highly recommend it.
Overall, I got to spend the day with my cute baby and wonderful husband and it was definitely a good day. :)
