Ainsley's 6 months old!

I can't believe that my baby is already 6 months old - a whole half of a year!

Some things about our little nut:

• She sits up well, not quite rolling around the room yet.
• She can pull herself across the carpet VERY SLOWLY, but still inches her way forward.
• She cut her first two teeth at 4 1/2-5 months old.
• She has the cutest giggle.
• She is Sydney's favorite toy.

At her 6 month appointment, she is now:

• 14.14 lbs, 29% (still gaining approximately 1 lb a month)
• 26 in long, 62% (6 inches longer since birth)
• 41 cm head, 35%

Unfortunately, she has had to struggle through a lot being that she currently has a cold and ear infection. This is the first ear infection we've had to deal with since Sydney never had one. (I like to believe it is because we did a fantastic job at giving Sydney Silver all throughout her first year and we have been doing a poor job with Ainsley.) It's apparent that Ainsley has a very high pain tolerance because just with teething she screams bloody murder.  All Sydney did was drool and run a small fever.  We've kept the Tylenol near by always, haha. Overall, she is a very happy baby. Her bright smile will lighten anyone's mood. I love her little smile. 

 

 

Here are two pictures of Sydney at 6 months old to compare. They really did look a lot alike, except for Sydney's baldness. :)
