City Days and Weddings

The Highland Fling and Alpine Days.
Kory's company (mostly done by Landon Davis) made a float for the City days' parade for the first time this year and it looked awesome.  They did a fantastic job on it.  Kory didn't ride the float at all because he manned the booth instead.  Their booth looked awesome too. It was great to finally get the word out about their product to the local public. For those who are unaware, Kory works for a company called American Biotech Labs where they produce silver-based products made with a technology they call SilverSol.   SilverSol Technology is patented to kill over 140 different types of bacteria (including MRSA, VRE, staph, E. coli, anthrax, Salmonella, etc.), as well as yeast (Candida a. and others), fungus, parasites (malaria), and viruses.  ABL took the technology and put it into a supplement liquid form that can be taken daily as an immune system support to help keep you from getting sick or to get over it faster if you already are sick.  There is also a gel that is designed for wound care and can be used to promote natural healing.  ABL has over 250 efficacy studies and 20+ safety reports on the technology, as well as peer reviewed journal articles and countless testimonies from medical professionals.  They have won the Best of State award for Medical Innovations for three different years (2007, '09, and '11).  I personally don't work for the company and can say that I call this stuff my "miracle medicine". You know the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" where the father uses Windex on everything? Yea, silver is our "windex". :)  ANYWAYS, their booth went great and they had some good outcomes.
Also at the Alpine Days, I found this booth with Frozen Hot Chocolate. And, you know me, I HAD to try it, right? haha Yes and it was so delicious! It was called Crio Bru and they use pure cocoa beans and grind it in their shakes. It is so dark and delicious, it's sinful. ;) They're not even paying me to advertise it; it was just that amazing! lol :)

Miss Sydney LOVED the parade. It was all very intriguing to her, especially the motorcyclist policemen (the siren noises). P.S. And that scratch was from her scratching herself one morning.

I just thought it was cool to see Captain Jack Sparrow. My favorite character of all time ;) I'm not even sure what the float was for... Real Estate it looks like? haha

Syd got to play with her Aunties in the blown up toys. This one is them inside a giant caterpillar.
 Exiting the Caterpillar.
 Inside a bouncing gym.

This summer has also been full of weddings.  One of my best friends from High School got married, along with Kory's sister and my sister. I finally am blogging them altogether even though I am lacking a lot of the good pictures.
Our friends, RACHEL & JON'S WEDDING!
August 5, 2011

Kory, Jon (groom), Landon Davis - both were the Best Mans and good friends of Jon's.  I think boys just look so good in tuxes.
Yes, she is practically walking now...She's almost 11 months old here.

MaLese Davis, I and Sydney.

Alysa actually did catch the bouquet. It was thrown into the plants but Alysa snatched it one-handed. I think she and Rachel were secretly planning it. ;)

HALLIE & MATT'S WEDDING! (Kory's sister)
June 2, 2011

Brynne danced the whole time! As long as there was music playing, she was in the middle of the dance floor.  And her cousin, Sydney, pretty much watched. They were so cute together.

Daddy/Daughter Dance
This was so cute of Kory to dance with his mom. I love it.

Sydney had a rough late night but she was such a trooper. And she looked so cute in her new dress Grandma Teresa bought her.

I had to take a picture of my toes because I was so excited. All the gals got pedicures and/or manicures. And I have cute new shoes, so I had to show those off too, right? ;)
