Kory's 27th Birthday

Kory turned 27!

We didn't do too much this year except invite some of Kory's close friends and his two sisters living in Layton to come over for brownies and homemade ice cream. :) It's always fun to see that crazy bunch.
Since I wasn't able to get you a card this year, I wrote you this. Hope you know how much you are loved!

Dear Kory,

You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you for seeing me as beautiful no matter what. Thank you for being patient with me when I am upset or just being a frantic female. Thank you for thinking that I am the perfect match for you and waiting a year and a half to prove that you could never love anyone else as much as you love me. Thank you for working so hard everyday so that we can have a comfortable place to live and good food on our table. Thank you for being sensitive when sensitivity is all I need. Thank you for striving to be the best man you can be. Thank you for being such a fantastic father to Sydney. She loves you so much. I love watching you make her giggle and smile. Thank you for trying so hard to train a wild horse, but still allowing me to run free once and a while. ;) Thank you for making my dreams come true...One at a time, you are fulfilling every wish in my book. Thank for for being the wonderful, sweet, caring, protective, passionate, and kind man that I need. Thank you for loving me.

Our Story...

Kory and Shay found each other at Brigham Young University at a Ward Choir practice, and they have been inseparable ever since. All except for the year and a half that she decided to follow Kory's lead and serve the Lord as a full time missionary, where she did so in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 2007-2008. Kory valiantly served in the New York, New York South Mission during 2003-2005. Now that they have been majestically reunited, they finished their college degrees while initially living in Provo, Utah. Now, they reside in Alpine, Utah. Two turned to three when their gorgeous daughter, Sydney, entered their lives September 2010. They currently live a challenging, yet happy life, and await for the next turn life's path brings them.
