Pregnancy #2 Progression

37 Weeks Today!
So this baby has been quite a bit different than my first pregnancy; more than I thought at first.  First of all, during my 1st Trimester, I still felt as sick I did the first time except I didn't throw up at all. (I have thrown up once so far, but that was because I ate something I really wasn't feeling like because we had no food in the house and it didn't settle well.)  I don't know if it was because I knew the secret to controlling my morning sickness or if it was just a better pregnancy.
There was no difference during my 2nd Trimester I noticed.
Now, during my 3rd Trimester, the biggest difference is that baby is NOT breached.  It does feel different to have her head constantly squishing my bladder vs. random kicks (and vice versa with my ribs).  Another difference is that because she is head-down, I am already dilated to 4 cm. Exciting! But I know I could sit at a 4 for the next 3-4 weeks so I try not to get too excited. ;)  The baby also has grown a bit slower than Sydney. Kory says I am not as big as I was with Sydney. I can't tell, maybe you can; you can check out my Pregnancy updates from Sydney and let me know what you think.  Doctor Lamoreaux was a tiny bit concerned about the baby's size for a couple of appointments there, but when we moved my due date back from July 28th (date they moved it to when I was 8 weeks) to Aug 3rd (the originally date), he wasn't too worried any more.  I never felt worried. You don't know how much I trust Dr. Lamoreaux. I honestly trust this man with my baby's life (literally), but I do it willingly. I would trust any decision on behalf of my child. He also supports natural birth in any way possible, which relieves a lot of stress when we go to the hospital.  That is the other difference: because this baby is not breached, I can do the natural birth that I wanted to do with Sydney. By "natural birth" I mean, I plan to not use an epidural or any form of induction intervention such as Pitocin. But I am not against getting my membranes stripped or breaking my water depending on what baby decides to do (or not do) in the next couple of weeks.  We are hoping she comes on her own and that I can use my Hypnobabies practice to handle the labor.  We will see what happens, eh?

You can't really see me in this pic but you can see my belly. :) This was around Father's Day, so I was about 32 weeks.
That's right, I still go tanning while being pregnant. This is at 7 Peaks and I was determined to find a way to tan the backs of my legs. Basically, I laid my towel down first and pulled it tight. That way it supported my belly while my body relaxed on the tube. It worked rather well actually. :)

ALMOST THERE!...
