1st Annual "Bryce & Teresa Flanary" Family Reunion
After finally marrying off 3 of their 10 children, my mom decided it was about time for our own "family reunions". My grandma and grandpa Jorgensen (my mom's parents), own a cabin just right outside Preston, Idaho. It is up a remote canyon and the cabin sits quietly by itself atop a hill. They own about 150 acres and have yet to put anything else on them. It is the most secluded place we have to get away and play for free. Down the dirt road about three miles is the Oneida Narrows Resevoir. This is our family's best kept secret, so shhh! Don't tell. ;) It is never busy or crowded, always warm, and has the greatest glass-like water. We couldn't ask for anything better.
Four-wheeling with Papa.
"The Reservoir"
The floating dock about 50 yards from the beach.

Eating chips with her aunties Savannah and Sadie
Sydney and Shantel
Dustin and Julieta (she does not like the hot sun!)
Surfing in Utah! That's right, baby. ;) Kory's, along with some of my siblings, have gotten the hang of it this year.

Me on the other hand....I need to get practice in next year. I got up once, but that was all because of my big belly. Surfing and life jackets were not manufactured for the 8 month pregnant female. Why not?? ;)
My dad slalom skiing.
This was right before he dislocated his shoulder. Yes, ironically he dislocated it just as he was trying to bail.

Even though he just had his shoulder popped back in the day before, my dad still wanted to surf. In case you don't know, surfing is the slowest of the water sports, and the fall is really light. That's how I was able to do it too. He put his arm inside his life jacket to keep himself from lifting it above his head and hurting it again.
He thinks he's so cool. ;)

Sky Skiing. The trick is to glide on the water on the 3 foot hydrofoil under the ski. This was Kory's first time on it.
This was not Derik's first time.
Papa's "BIG BOAT" and "BIG TRUCK" (as Sydney says it with as deep a voice as she can muster).
AKA: my Dad's new babies. ;)
My mom threatened that this was the last boat he will ever buy since he is now 50 yrs old, so he classically got a brand new 2012. And the same thing happened with his new truck that he really needed since his old truck lost its pulling ability. (I do have to say, the black makes one sexy truck!)
Not sure if you noticed, but in the pictures of Sydney, her leg is usually wrapped in white tape. Right before we left on the trip, her skin broke out in some random infection, but only on the back of her left knee. It originally looked like one round sore that was missing a scab. But them it started to spread rapidly. The doctor who looked at it said that he "thinks" it started as eczema and then got infected. We left for The Ranch the next day so we had to religiously keep the creams and silver on her at least 3 times a day. By the time we got home almost a week later, it was looking a lot better. I would've taken her to a dermatologist if it hadn't gone away. It was really bizarre but I'm glad she's better.
It was one day worse than this pic.
